Leadership Symposium

Held annually throughout the United States, the Leadership Symposium is designed for Chief Executive Officers, Board of Trustee members, Development Council or Foundation volunteer and staff leadership of Hillary Lyons Associates' client institutions. The Symposium provides an opportunity for attending individuals to share problems and successes and plan for a successful future with the leadership from their institutions. Special sessions allow representatives from each institution to individually discuss their current and future institutional direction and to identify the next key steps for their own development programs.

The Aspen Academy for Healthcare Philanthropy was first held in 1974 as a comprehensive training program exclusively for clients of Hillary Lyons Associates and is now open both client and non-client organizations. Attendance is limited, allowing for the opportunity to develop a detailed 12-month plan of action specifically tailored to your individual organization.

Hosted annually exclusively for clients of Hillary Lyons Associates, Client Committee Seminars are presented by Hillary Lyons Associates executives who introduce and expand on effective programs for volunteer leadership. The various sessions present models and guidelines for organization and expansion of a Development Council Committee program. Additionally, there is opportunity for discussion and exchange of ideas among participants in those areas of greatest interest. As part of the seminars, each participant develops an outline and schedule for their organization's Committee program.
